Volyoume hair spray is a natural product composed of 2 active ingredients: Apple extract (Procyanidin B-2) and Arginine.

These ingredients nourish your hair and improve microcirculation contributing to slowing hair loss and promoting healthy hair growth by stimulating the production of new hair follicles.

Procyanidin B-2 selectively inhibits a naturally occurring protein, which in turn promotes hair cell production, and shifts the hair follicle from telogen (resting) to anagen (growing) phase.

Procyanidins exert potent anti-inflammatory activity through inhibiting Nitric Oxide and Prostaglandin E2 production whilst also inhibiting the expression of proinflammatory mediators.

In a recent double-blind study, after 12 months of procyanidin treatment the total number of hairs significantly increased over the baseline value measured at the start of the trial, with a total increase of 23 hairs per square centimetre!

Arginine is an amino acid in keratin. It strengthens hair, decreases hair breakage, minimises hair loss, moisturises and protects hair from damage through colouring.

Arginine can help generate Nitrogen Oxide which opens the potassium channels within cells and dilates blood vessels. This improves the blood flow and circulation increasing the exchange of nutrients between the root and hair, allowing for greater hair health and resistance.

100% of trial studies found arginine containing hair tonic solutions might be an easy to use and safe approach to treat test persons with androgenetic alopecia. Clinical studies with durations up to 18 months revealed that the continuous application of hair tonic resulted in:

- a stop or delay of hair loss
- increases of hair density and volume
- stimulated hair growth

Evaluation of more than 140 probands demonstrated that the use of the tonic solution is safe without any side effects. Thus, the results strongly suggest that the L-arginine hair tonic is capable to positively influence the attenuation of hair loss

For best results, please ensure your hair and scalp are completely dry before application.

Spray 6 times over the affected area, twice daily. Each bottle of volyoume has been carefully measured to ensure you have at least a month's supply.

Not enough is known about the use of volyoume during pregnancy and breast-feeding. We advise caution and to avoid use during this time.
